Blessing

We were able to bless Ryan while we were in Portland over break. It was so nice to have our families able to be there. Ryan was of course the perfect little angel through the whole blessing. He did not make a peep, but was awake and staring up at everybody the whole time. I was little bit nervous while we were at church, because that was the first time we had taken him. Too many coughs for my liking! My Mom makes afghans for all of her grandchildren and Ryan's is so pretty! I love it. He had an adorable knit outfit that Kaye gave me that was just what I wanted for him. It was a wonderful day!

You Have Got to be Kidding Me!

I can't believe this baby is already a month old! It has gone by so fast. He is still as adorable as ever though.

There are plenty of gory details that I will spare you all, but he is finally here and he is just perfect. He has been sleeping like a champ and he is so cute and snuggly. He has been so fun to have at home and we are adjusting to our new routine.

September!

Summer is over. This fact makes us sad. Why does summer have to go by so fast? This means we have to go back to school and have more responsibility again. Oh well, it was good while it lasted...

It's Official

We are having a baby. We found out a couple of weeks ago that it is a boy! I am about 5 1/2 months along, so we are looking at a mid-November delivery (hopefully). He has been growing like crazy in the last few weeks and it is starting to show! We are very excited to add a baby to our family.

Anniversaries

We started dating 10 years ago last month! That seems like a really long time ago. We were both 17.


6 years ago we were married! We will be taking a little get-away trip to celebrate since this will be last year it will just be the two of us...

Cooking

I have had the itch lately to make new recipes! I always get nervous making a new recipe because I hate putting in the time for something I am not sure if I will end up liking it. There are so many awesome cooking blogs and recipes online I just need to take advantage! This has been my new favorite blog and not just because of her awesome giveaways! Does anyone else use any cool cooking blogs you want to share?

We are both done with school! It was a glorious week starting on Thursday for me when I finished my last final. Jandon was happier than happier on Saturday when he finished his last final. I can officially apply to the nursing program and the hubs is officially half way through law school. It's a good week!
